Unable to keep internet connection connected on mac osx 10.7 Lion

Question

I have osX 10.7 Lion as it is known and my at&t wireless connection keeps dropping. I have a 2wire wireless modem. I can watch about 20 mins of streaming video, then it freezes, i look at the modem and the connection light is flashing. So I am unable to keep this connection connected.

I also had problems with my att 2wire modem dropping with my mac. I don't know if it is that they are just junk, but I was able to disable the wireless on the 2wire, then put a seperate wireless router plugged into one of the lan ports and just connect wirelessly to that and I have not had any problems since then. So it must just be that those modems/routers are junk.
